Coleman CBX – global consulting corporate branding and visual identity – has been chosen by Petrolis de Barcelona SA – a company dedicated to the supply and distribution of diesel fuels, agricultural, industrial and heating – for the creation and design of its new brand name: PREMIRA reflecting its new positioning.
Petrolis de Barcelona SA began operations in 1965 as family business. Currently has four distribution bases in northeastern peninsular own network of service stations in valedoras expansion of a new concept of self-supply units in development, and more than 70 professionals serving about 20,000 customers composed of carriers farms and livestock, industry and individuals.
Focused from its origins in the quality and personalized service to its customers, Petrolis of Barcelona has developed into a modern company in full expansion, committed to innovation, biodiversity, environment and emerging trends sector.
In response to this new positioning, Barcelona Petrolis Coleman CBX entrusted the challenge to evolve their current brand to create a new name and visual identity that combines the traditional with the current spirit of the company. A brand that goes beyond geographical and conceptual limitations of the previous Petrolis and summarizes their commitment to the future, their commitment to innovation and growth and expansion plans: PREMIRA.
A graphic level, Coleman CBX bet on two inseparable elements: the symbol and logo; transmitters both Petrolis corporate DNA and its traditional values of work and commitment to service quality and its talent for innovation, leadership and commitment to the future.
In short, the story of an inspirational brand symbol. A story based on the record and the efforts of its founder, Mr. Ferrer, in his early business career. His endless days from sunrise to sunset, the sight of the lights of cars and asphalt in their daily movements were the origin of the characteristic sun and headlights that make the new logo graphically.
Overall, the brand new logo aims to combine tradition with modernity and innovation, positioning PREMIRA as a company of “new energy”. A concept of global energy that moves the world, now and in the future, in line with the baseline power distribution that accompanies the logo and defines the essence and rationale of the new brand.
To reinforce the symbolism of PREMIRA, Coleman CBX used a warm color palette reminiscent of the hues of a sunset, gray representing modernity, strength and innovation.
As for the typography, we chose a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, contributing to the brand values of proximity, kindness and dynamism.
