Launch film: Does God love homosexuals?
Does God love homosexuals? Can a homosexual reach the highest position in the Catholic Church and be canonized as a saint? These are some of the questions bluntly and without fear, releases the second installment of the series CAN YOU GO TO IT of the production INFINITY + 1, known to the international success of his first production, THE LAST CIMA (2010).
If the first episode of the show presented the story of Juango, a gang of Medellin today is a priest, this new chapter in greatest length (80 minutes), tells the story of Reuben, a Mexican, as a boy, heard the first teasing “You are like a girl”. At age 15 he had his first sex with a man. For 20 years were countless. A point of operation to be transsexual, a friend invited him to retreat. “What God loves me? Me? I thought God loved everyone except homosexuals. ”
Along with Reuben, on the tape are other people who have supported their attraction to same-sex attraction with God. With the utmost respect for the freedom of every person, not theoretical lessons but they talk about their personal experiences of gay life and life of faith.
The program director, Juan Manuel Cotelo, reopen the space of your caravan to talk calmly with people whose lives have features in common with the protagonist. The only condition of those spontaneous dialogue is the mutual respect and listening together.
